💁 What is a Gas Fee?

Originating on the Ethereum Blockchain, gas is the fuel that powers the blockchain. A decentralized network allows anyone to service the network and receive rewards for validating the date before its added to the blockchain. Bas is the transaction fee for validators/miners to keep the blockchain updated. Gas fees can be quite variable, depending on the time of day, type of transaction, and what specific blockchain you are using.

🔥️ What are Airdrops and Bounties?

Airdrops and bounties are ways for crypto community members to earn extra perks and rewards for doing small tasks, or simply by being a member of their community.

Airdrop: These are usually free or easy to attain perks given to distribute tokens. Often a network will airdrop to all holders in the network, or all holders of a specific NFT. These are often done to generate excitement and PR for a new project. Airdrops are meant to be an easy reward given to the community, often for simple tasks like signing up to the Discord community or making a referral.

Bounties: This is a more task intensive way to get rewards, but usually offers much better perks. Bounties are tasks a crypto community needs done. Other bounties included bug bounties where community members can find network code issues or vulnerabilities and earn for reporting on them. These are usually complicated or high effort tasks, but offer much bigger rewards.
